Child's Play - Contemporary Children's Furniture. Those Italians!

Love the clean minimalist look, but not sure how to apply it to your child’s bedroom without taking the fun out of it? Take a look at some of these gorgeous Italian made beds for your little one. They are sleek, contemporary and ingeniously built to hide clutter and create a diverse space for your child to play.
The Italians really had it figured out when they came up with some of these designs. CIA International has beds that roll, About Junior has versatile trundle beds, and CLEI has beds that fold into the wall, turn into desks or fit snuggly into storage. The options are endless, have a look and see which of these beds is a great fit for your child’s room!

Nautical Wonder for a Boys Room - Feat. Wall & Deco Wallcoverings

The First step to creating a child's bedroom is to pick a theme. Choose a focal point that the rest of the room compliments. You should make it imaginative and quirky; have fun with it, you will be changing the theme of the room in a few years down the line.

Here I choose the focal point of the room to be this adorable sailboat wallcovering. It sets the mood for the room and everything that will follow. In this case a nautical theme, perfect for two boys around the ages of 4 to 8.

Next, it is important that you pick the furniture that will inhabit the room, such as a bed, desk and chair. I choose a bunk bed paired with a versatile desk, perfect for two rambunctious boys.

Then comes the really fun part, Textiles! Window coverings, Bedding, pillows, rugs, and so on. I went with a striped Clarke & Clark fabric for the Valance. And for the bedding a Chevron comforter with matching sailboat sheets to match the wallpaper.
